The NYT dearly loves its upper-middle-class lifestyle stories, doesn’t it? I don’t know whether the Lower East Side is still the haven for the poor it once was (I doubt it), but I’ve never seen a story in that paper about people scraping by in NYC at poverty-level or below.

Whether or not these two had an affair really doesn’t matter. If they did, who cares? Garth seems to be all about keeping “whatever” quiet for the sake of his children, and so does Sandy. Perhaps she may not like him but says nice things so that her daughters won’t read about it- or MAYBE, it’s like Tiger and Elin, there was hush money in the divorce clause. Even if that’s the case, somebody (either Garth, Sandy, Trisha, or all of them) don’t want any of this out in the public… but you know what? That’s ok because it’s NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. Period.

Wow! I’ve never been to OK so I don’t have an opinion about the people there, but I am a Southerner (from Mississippi) and I thought the post was funny. I wasn’t offended like many of the Oklahomans seem to be…

I would like to add that only Southerners know where yonder is, and they are probably fixin’ to start heading that way : )

I haven’t listened to the politics daily thing they changed it into. I never liked that theme music when they ran it during the elections.

I am so sorry they killed off Guardian Daily. I miss Jon Dennis’s voice terribly, even more than I miss Steve Whozit and Emily Bell on Guardian Media (which goes on without them).
