Also, “preantepenultimate” is a fantastic word.
First year college Greek taught me that one. Something I can use, still. Since I forgot all the Greek.
Melinda: In a footnote in one of the Jane Austen novels I’m teaching this semester, the word “antepenultimate” appears. My students were baffled. I thought it was hysterical.
