I find it odd that no one has commented on the completely bizarre language used to ask Obama about the flaglapel-pin. The question was “do you believe in the flag.”
When I heard that question, my first thought was “Believe in what? That the flag exists? That it can raise the dead? That it was crucified, dead and buried, and on the third day the flag rose from the dead and ascended into heaven”?
That verb was pretty damned strange.
