CNN is running the typical sensational headlines in the wake of the 9/11 Commission’s report. Now, I realize that there were many areas where 9/11 exposed a breakdown in communication between and among different services/departments/organizations. I realize that coordination could’ve been better in many areas.
But for God’s sake, this is the Buffy Paradigm all over again.
So I was looking at one of those little boxes on the
sidewalk that contains copys of assorted national
newspapers, and the headlines of a particular paper
caught my attention. It had a picture of the World
Trade Center and the caption said:
“9-11, What went wrong?” Now I knew what they meant,
but come on, cant anyone come up with a
better headline than that? Hmmm…lets see, what went
wrong?…Well I guess it all started when that one airplane
crashed into that really tall building…COME ON!!!! AHHHHH
