- Went for a run this morning. Felt good. Less sore than I was last week.
- About 30 minutes after I got back, I got a call to come play golf. I did.
- Ate a quick lunch afterwards. Then to Home Despot for home improvement supplies (killz, wonderboard, tile, grout, spacers, sealant, some tiling supplies, and a new bathroom vent fan thingy).
- Bleached the mold on the ceiling.
- Painted the ceiling with killz. I shit you not, our shower walls and ceiling are DRYWALL. Not waterproof. The walls are mostly tiled, but the ceiling was just plain old drywall. Mold is an issue. Hopefully, not anymore.
- While I waited on it to dry, I began installing a new ceiling fan.
- The 20 minute process of installing the new fan took 2+ hours (it’s a long story). Thank god for a neighbor who does construction work.
- I realized I’d spaced on a meeting I was supposed to go to. Have made several calls to apologize. I find it really, really difficult to maintain any kind of schedule in the summer.
- Measured and scored the wonderboard.
- Realized I couldn’t lift the wonderboard up and drill through it at the same time.
- Thank god for a neighbor with a beefy son.
- Tiled it.

Tomorrow morning, I’ll grout it, put some caulk around the edges to make it watertight, and call it a day.
